About

Lekovite Sirovine is a peer-reviewed open-access journal with no publication fees or article processing charges. The journal publishes original research papers, professional papers, and reviews in the fields of medicinal plant research, ethnopharmacology, phytotherapy, phytomedicine, medicinal fungi, and related disciplines.
With a long-standing scientific tradition since 1951, Lekovite Sirovine aims to strengthen and support the research and educational foundation for emerging and established scientists worldwide.

Focus and Scope

The journal Lekovite Sirovine (tr. Medicinal Raw Materials) is dedicated to all areas of Medicinal Plants Research, Ethnopharmacology, Phytotherapy, Phytomedicine, Medicinal fungi, etc. It is a scientific journal with a long tradition, since 1951, that publishes research, reviews, and professional articles with no publication charges, costs, or fees for publication.

Submission Checklist

  • All co-authors have read and agreed on the current version of this manuscript.
  • The manuscript is written in accordance with the Author Guidelines.
  • I confirm the main manuscript file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • Manuscript text is divided into numbered sections; line and page numbers are added and text is double-spaced.
  • I will provide all illustrations in camera-ready form, suitable for reproduction without retouching. See Author Guidelines.
  • I have all additional electronic files of supplementary materials (e.g. datasets, images, audio, video) ready.
  • I am aware that an ORCID is required for all authors before the article can be published (if accepted).
  • A conflict-of-interest statement is included at the end of the manuscript. 

Peer Review

This journal operates a double-anonymous, peer review policy.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles can be downloaded free of charge.

Publication Fees

Journal Lekovite sirovine publishes accepted articles with no submission fees, article publication charges, or any other costs for publication.

Publication Cycle

Accepted articles are published continuously all year round, and the journal publishes an issue every 12 months, in December of each year.
